Hey, everyone. In my current series (Eternal Night), I have a 'nice' evil Ryo. He's gone through a lot; Being thrown over a cliff by Tai (Kamiya was corrupted at the time, Ryo wasn't yet); Infected with Darkness by my ex-villain, Noctem; Attacked brutally by Ken after his powers awakened; happy ruler of Earth 004. Obviously, Ryo will have some problems! But can anyone help me? I'm sure I can write some powerful scenes of Ryo suffering and his thoughts about life, but I want someone else's point of view on this. I'm also sure that Ajora will remember me e-mailing her awhile back on something like this, but my never ending quest for input has brought me here. So can anyone help? The timeline in my story is long and complicated, so if you do help, it could take some time getting used to.

Ryo's been used as nothing more than a tool to attack Millenniumon by the Holy Beasts in D-1 Tamers and ENIAC in Brave Tamer. You might want to write in that he's been used so much that he's sick of it and his behavior is an attempt to strike back before anyone uses him again.

And, of course, there's Millenniumon. Any abuse you can put Ryo through could probably be traced to Millenniumon and his freakish obsession that, by the end of Brave Tamer, goes somewhere I've only seen done in bad crossbreeding fics. Bandai certainly isn't above using that since Ryo seems to be their favorite whipping boy. What's really fun though is the indication that Millenniumon IS Ryo's real Digimon partner, it's revealed near the end of Brave Tamer (dammit, that was going to be the big plot twist in Knight of Swords, too. Dammit dammit dammit).
